Flinders Chase and western Kangaroo Island include Southern Ocean wind that can close Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, steep steps, seals, wildlife on roads, remote 4WD tracks that close after rain, fire-danger closures, limited mobile coverage and a ferry clock that is not this site’s responsibility. You are responsible for your decisions, fitness, navigation, weather assessment and compliance with park rules. Always verify track status, fees, fire bans and safety information on official parks.sa.gov.au resources and CFS.
